The dime is the problem, not the percent. A 10¢ fee is 0.50% on a $20 fill and 0.15% on a $65 pedicure — so two salons quoted the same "2.6% + 10¢" pay completely different rates, and the one with smaller tickets pays more. That's why we quote a percent with no per-ticket fee. Numbers above are an illustration for a debit-heavy salon at $20,000/mo; your quote comes from your actual statement, in writing, before you decide anything. Want your customers to cover the card fee instead? Dual pricing is built in — legal in all 50 states, debit exempt automatically, one switch to turn on or off. No. TurnPOS runs in the browser on an iPad, Mac, or Windows PC — whatever you have or prefer. Many shops run everything on one iPad and a wall TV for the turn board. Không.
