Privacy Policy

1. Who this covers

This policy covers three groups of people:

• Visitors to turnpos.com;
• Salon owners and staff whose businesses use the TurnPOS service; and
• Salon clients whose information a salon enters into TurnPOS (for example, a name and phone number on a booking or a gift-card balance).

2. What we collect on this website

• Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) used only to operate and secure the site.
• Your language preference, stored on your own device. We set no advertising cookies and use no ad trackers.
• Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in the process (see Google's privacy policy).
• If you contact us — by call, text, or email — we keep that correspondence, including any merchant statement you choose to send us for a pricing quote. Statements are used only to prepare your quote, are shared with no one, and are deleted on request.

3. What the TurnPOS service processes

• Salon business data: services, prices, tickets, staff, schedules, payroll settings, and reports — entered by the salon, owned by the salon.
• Salon client data: names, phone numbers, email addresses, appointment and visit history, and gift-card balances that a salon records. We process this on the salon's behalf; the salon is responsible for its relationship with its clients. We never use salon client data for our own marketing and never sell it.
• Payment data: card numbers are never seen or stored by TurnPOS. Cards are read by a payment terminal and processed directly by the payment processor and card networks. TurnPOS stores only the last four digits, the card brand, amounts, tips, and — when a salon enables it — the customer's on-screen signature attached to that sale.

4. How information is shared

Only with the service providers required to run the product: our payment processing partners (to process card transactions and set up merchant accounts), cloud infrastructure providers (hosting, content delivery, and encrypted backups), and email delivery. Each receives only what its function requires. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, or as part of a business transfer (in which case this policy continues to apply).

5. Security and retention

• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with continuous backups kept at two independent providers.
• Access is restricted to authorized personnel with a need to know.
• Business records are retained while an account is active and as required for tax, payment-network, and legal obligations; we delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

6. Your choices and rights

You may request a copy of your information, correction, or deletion (subject to legal retention requirements) by contacting us below. Salon clients should direct requests to their salon first — it controls its records — and we assist salons in fulfilling them. We honor applicable state privacy rights, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising them.

7. Children

TurnPOS and turnpos.com are business tools, not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

8. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and notify active salon customers by email.
